There are two ways your team can log in to the Check-In App. Pick the one that best fits how your team works on event day.
Option 1: Shared PIN code
Best for teams where several staff members scan tickets using the same account.
How it works: The account holder creates a 4-digit PIN in their Insights Profile. That PIN is tied to their email address. Anyone who logs in to the Check-In App with that email and PIN gets in right away, with no login code needed.
Set-up instructions are in the Insights tab here!
Option 2: Individual access
Best for teams where each person should have their own login.
How it works: Each person logs in with their own email address. Every time they log in, they'll receive a one-time login code by email and enter it in the app to get in.
How to set it up: Reply to your Experience Main Thread with:
The email address of each person who needs access
Whether each person needs the Check-In App only, or the Check-In App and Insights
We'll add them on our end and let you know once they're set up.
Both options work on multiple devices at the same time.
Test the app at least 48 hours before doors open — don't wait until event day. Confirm every staff member working the door can log in, and run a practice scan together so no one is figuring it out live.
Open the app, select your event and the correct time slot, and use the Scan tab to check guests in. Valid tickets show green, already-used or invalid tickets show red.
The app checks tickets against the selected time slot — if staff are scanning for the 7 PM slot but a guest holds a 9 PM ticket, it will show an error. Assign staff to a specific slot only if they're scanning for that same slot; otherwise, leave them unassigned so they can scan tickets from any slot.
Most login and navigation issues are answered below — take a look before reaching out.
No — sessions only expire after long periods of inactivity.
Yes — you can log into multiple devices simultaneously with the same email. There is no limit.
Go to the Search tab. Each ticket has a visible check icon on the left. Find the ticket you accidentally marked and tap the green check to undo the check-in.
Slide down in the Events tab for a full refresh, or click the Refresh button on the experience details screen.
First check the Search tab to see if the ticket is already checked in. If not, try scanning again. Also make sure the staff member is positioned within the same time slot as the ticket being scanned — the app validates tickets against the selected show slot.
No. Once scanned, the ticket code is flagged on our servers. Even across multiple devices, it won't scan twice. Switch to the Search tab and look for the ticket — you'll see the status has changed.
Events scheduled more than 3 months from the current date will not appear. This is expected app behavior.
This is expected if your device doesn't support the app. Check the list of supported devices here: Supported Devices List (updated May 2026).
Access is given per entity (LLC), not per individual experience — so if several experiences fall under the same LLC, access applies to all of them together.
There are only two access levels: Check-in App only, or Insights and Check-in App together. If you have Insights access, you'll also get Check-in App access automatically. That's not a security issue: Insights is the one that shows financial data, and it already has its own separate access level. The Check-in App itself is just for scanning tickets — no financial information shows up there.
